In October 2015, on behalf of the Jusinbellgium project, the Université libre de Bruxelles has signed a cooperation agreement with the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court and is now an official partner in the Legal Tools Database project.
This web-based initiative gathers national, international and internationalized case-law as well as historical documentation and offers an international and stable archival environment to the Belgian trial files dealt with by the Jusinbellgium Project.
The ICC Legal Tools is a central database for past and current international criminal law. It specifically focuses on core international crimes cases (involving war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide or aggression).
The project’s archival collections is hosted in the “national jurisdictions case-law” collection.
